Welcome Back to Another School Year at Peterson Middle School!

Welcome back, families and students! We are thrilled to launch another exciting year of music-making at Peterson Middle School. Whether your student is picking up an instrument for the first time or returning for advanced ensemble performance, we are looking forward to a vibrant year filled with growth, community, and great music.

📅 Concert Dates Are Set

Our performance schedule for the 2026–2027 school year is finalized! All concert dates, rehearsals, and special event schedules have been published directly to our Google Calendar.

🎺 Incoming 6th Grade Parent Informational Night

Calling all incoming 6th-grade families! Join us for an orientation meeting to get a preview of what’s in store for your student's first year in the Peterson Music Program.

• When: Thursday Evening at 5:30 PM

• Where: Peterson Music Room

• Attendance: Optional, but highly recommended for new families!

During this 45-minute session, we will cover:

• 6th Grade Curriculum & Plans: What students will learn and expect throughout the year.

• Music Boosters Overview: How our Peterson Music Boosters support ensemble needs, instrument maintenance, and events.

• Parent Volunteer Opportunities: Ways you can get involved—from event chaperone roles to helping behind the scenes.
